A pretty cool little collection – a wealth of funky tracks from 1970s Korea, all mixed together by a resident DJ from the scene! All of the cuts here are entirely new to our ears – and most of them are pretty darn funky, too – a very hip blend of American funk and soul influences, filtered through some Eastern pop production – all of which makes for one of the most unusual mixes you'll ever hope to hear! Lyrics are all in Korean, but the rhythms have a definite universally funky appeal – and the set is a great first step towards unlocking the great wealth of grooves from the Korean Peninsula.
